Underground Adventure at Venado Caves

This fascinating underground adventure will take you through a labyrinth of passages and chambers in which you will see interesting rock formations like “La Papaya”, stalactites, stalagmites, bats, spiders and fossils showing that the caves were at one time at the bottom of the ocean.

The caves are located only 45 minutes from La Fortuna.

Departure time: 8:00 am & 1:00 pm.

What to bring: Light comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet, binoculars, camera, sunscreen lotion, insect repellent, a change of clothes and a plastic bag for wet clothes.
